During CES 2008 panasonic has displayed a huge plasma TV which is world’s largest to date. It’s 150 inch screen does not look like a traditional TV but a huge wall of video. The TV would not be available for consumers until 2009. Matsushita Electric is another company who claims to bring 150 inch plasma TV in the beginning of 2009. The new TV boasts four times better resolution than full high-definition 1080p picture quality and offers a screen the size of nine 50-inch plasma televisions.
Here are some of the specs for Panasonic 150 inch
- 2k x 4k resolution, 4x the resolution of 1080p
- 50% less power use via double luminance efficiency — big deal on a set this big.
- You can’t afford this, well most of us
