MagicJack is a new name in cheap VOIP service. Device is available for around $40 which covers one year of unlimited US local and long distance calling with almost every feature a traditional phone company would provide for much higher price. Second year and onwards , it is $20/year. The device is very easy to connect. It has USB on one end and phone jack on the other where you can plug your normal phone equipment and make the calls. PC Magazine Editor’s choice for 2008, this is a great product. The quality is reported to be comparable to the traditional phone service. You could be anywhere in the world with a computer and high speed internet service.
