TVShowsonDVD.com has posted follow up news on the recent reacquirement of all Sunbow properties (including the original G1 Transformers series) and what this means for the future release status of said properties, which you can view here.
In regards to that, no new information is mentioned, though one item of note is included near the end of the message: the live action Transformers Movie, directed by Michael Bay and starring Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull star Shia LaBeouf, will be released on the Blu-Ray format September 2nd in a two disc special edition!
Many fans have been hoping for a Blu-Ray release, and will be glad to hear that they only need wait a little longer. In the meantime, the Seibertron.com news crew will keep their eyes and ears open for more information as it relates to this news.
