Klipsch’s Icon W Looks Classy

klipsch-wf35 Klipsch’s Icon W Looks Classy

The company just announced these classic beauties, which feature furniture-grade wood veneer cabinets, in espresso and cabernet finishes. That’s nice for the outside, but on the inside, it’s a very contemporary piece.

All-new horn engineering allows the company to put full-bodied sound in a slimmer box. Each one features Klipsch’s XT Tractrix Horn-loaded technology, promising high-output and low-distortion sound.

Five models are available: the WF-35 ($1,499) and WF-34 ($1,199) floorstanding speakers, the WB-14 bookshelf speaker ($599), the WC-24 ($499) center channel and the WS-24 ($749) surround speaker.

The WF-35 and WF-34 each have 5.25- and 4.5-inch fiberglass cone woofers and a 1-inch titanium tweeter. The WB-14 uses one 4.5-inch fiberglass cone woofer, while the WC-24 center channel and WS-24 surround have two. All have 1-inch titanium diaphragm compression drivers.
