A-DATA’s Turbo Series 350x CF cards provide read and write speeds of 52MB/s and 47MB/s, respectively.
Available in 8GB and 16GB configurations, the new cards are aimed squarely at photographers and videographers needing high-capacity, high-transfer-rate cards for continuous shooting with the current generation of memory hungry professional equipment, according to the manufacturer.
The announcement from A-DATA doesn’t provide details on pricing or availability, but some studied speculation suggests that the 16GB card will likely hit in the $200 to $250 range.
