Sony confirmed today that it has pulled back it’s latest firmware upgrade Ver 2.40 after the customers started to report major problem with their PS3’s after they upgraded their consoles. Sony released a new firmware on Tuesday. Soon after applying the new release, customers started to see their PS3’s stopped working.
