Amazon.com is taking pre-orders for long awaited Asus Eee PC 1000. It comes with 10” display, Intel ATOM Processor, 1 GB RAM, 40 GB Solid State Drive, Linux and loaded with 6 Cell Battery.  It is to be sold at a price tag of $699. The shipping date is not confirmed yet.
