Even though the consumer storage market is mostly dominated by Western Digital and Maxtor for quite some time now, LG and other consumer electronic companies are also trying their hands to get a bit of market share, if they could. The latest in that spree is a group of stylish looking portable hard drives introduced by LG. Each member of the XD1 family possesses a 2.5-inch HDD with a SATA II interface and a USB 2.0 port, and just in case black isn’t your bag, you can expect a red wine colored version as well.
Pricing and availability details are not clear yet. But we will be looking forward to a promising storage capacity drives sizing 120GB, 160GB, 250GB and 320GB in near future.
