Netflix is trying to increase the premium for its Blu-ray movies. Netflix CEO Reed Hastings noted on a recent conference call that the promised Blu-ray premium would be instituted “very shortly.” No specifics on what the price increases will look at, but as previously guessed , it will be a $1-$2 per month premium. The new pricing will be applied across the entire subscriber base not just the Blu-ray subscribers.
