Dell is offering BIOS updates to fix the problem introduced by faulty Nvidia GPUs. The BIOS update will not fix the physical problem with the GPU, if there is any, but will fix the most common software driver issues.

Dell notes that if you are already experiencing these video-related issues, updating the BIOS will not correct them. Instead, the PC maker will provide support for customers who have experienced graphics card failure according to the terms of the system warranty.
