Amazon.com has announced it will offer its Amazon MP3 music store for G1 users. The music store comes pre-loaded on the smartphone and will offer over 6 million DRM-free songs.
Most tracks on the Amazon MP3 store are priced at $.89, with full albums ranging from $5.99 to $9.99. The Amazon MP3 music store will be featured in a dedicated application on the G1. Now that is going to be some serious competition for Apple.
