Take the Area 51 M15x laptop, for example. Hopefully the M17 laptop, announced today, will be in that latter category, too. It’s definitely intimidating on paper, at least! Foremost on the list of possible components is an Intel quad-core CPU (although dual core options are also available), up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM and as many as two AMD ATI Radeon HD 3870 GPUs in CrossFireX. Screen wise options include either a 1,440 x 900 or a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution panel in the M17’s 17in chassis, though in such a system only the latter is really worth considering.
