| If you’ve always fancied getting your hands on an Asus Eee PC (specifically a 3G Asus Eee 901 PC) but have never quite got round to it, and you happen to live in the UK, you may be interested to know that Orange are now offering a ‘free’ 3G Asus 901 Eee PC courtesy of a $25 per month deal that’s just gone live. |
| Putting aside the fact that Asus are presently phasing out the Eee 901 PC, the Orange plan comes inclusive of 3GB data transfer, 100 texts per month and you’ll be locked in for a total of 24 months – meaning that you’ll be paying a total of 24 months – meaning that you’ll be paying a total of £600 for the privilege of acquiring your ‘free’ Orange Asus Eee 901 PC. Of course, what you need to ask yourself is whether you’re happy being ‘lumbered’ with a netbook that’s already far from new for the next two years. |
