ViewSonic will extend its marketing in the China market from LCD product lines to netbooks and notebooks, according to industry sources in Taiwan.The company plans to develop a 22-inch notebook for the China market. In addition to ViewSonic, monitor vendor TPV is also selling notebook products in China, but volumes are currently low. The company’s strategy is to bundle a small size notebook with a large-size monitor to boost monitor sales. There’s no official word on specs or that it’s even going to be built, but CrunchGear dug up news of its existence and that ViewSonic is also going to put out some netbooks and other notebooks, too.
